Job Description
We are hiring a male South Indian Cook for our Four Star Hotel located in Thiruvananthapuram. The candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, sambar, rasam, biryani, and other traditional items as per hotel standards. Key duties include food preparation, cooking, maintaining proper taste and quality consistency, and ensuring timely service for restaurant and banquet operations. The role also involves menu planning assistance, managing kitchen ingredients, checking stock freshness, and maintaining proper food storage practices. The cook must strictly follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen and ensure cleanliness of work areas and equipment. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and coordinate with other kitchen staff is essential. Prior experience in South Indian cooking in hotels or restaurants is required.
