The candidate will be responsible for safe and timely transportation of goods to various delivery points as assigned. Duties include loading and unloading materials carefully, ensuring proper handling of products during transit, maintaining delivery schedules, and verifying goods with invoices or delivery challans. The driver must ensure regular inspection and basic maintenance of the vehicle, including checking fuel, oil, brakes, and overall roadworthiness. Reporting any mechanical issues promptly is essential. Candidates should possess a valid driving license and have good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations. A responsible attitude, punctuality, and willingness to travel long distances when required are important. Previous experience in delivery or logistics driving will be an added advantage.
