Position: Team Leader – Business Development Location: Kochi Employment Type: Full-time Experience:2–3 years in business development or team management Role Overview The Team Leader will oversee a team of 5–7 Business Development Executives (BDEs) at Hexanova Tech Solutions, guiding them in admissions, student inquiries, and overall growth of the organization. The role focuses on mentoring, process improvement, and quality of service with sales targets for the leader. The leader earns an incentive of 1 % of the total sales generated by each BDE under their team and 2% of your individual target. Responsibilities - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 5–7 BDEs, providing guidance on admissions & student handling. - Monitor BDE performance, ensure quality in lead management, walk?ins, and student interactions. - Conduct regular team meetings to review processes, address challenges, and share best practices. - Ensure accurate record?keeping of all student interactions, inquiries, and outcomes for each BDE. - Oversee one?on?one counselling sessions conducted by BDEs to help students identify academic goals. - Provide clear, up?to?date information to BDEs about Hexanova Tech Solutions’ courses & programs. - Manage post?admission follow?up and ensure smooth student onboarding & satisfaction. - Encourage relationship building and effective communication among BDEs and students/parents. - Maintain detailed documentation & reporting of team activities for transparency and performance tracking. - Contribute to enhancing Hexanova Tech Solutions’ academic counselling and admissions processes. - Support overall growth & development of the business development team. Skills & Requirements - 2–3 years of experience in business development or team leadership (preferably in education/tech). - Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills. - Ability to build trust & rapport with team members, students, and parents. - Good organizational & record?keeping abilities. - Comfortable with performance monitoring and process optimization. - Motivated to drive team success and quality service delivery. Compensation - Fixed salary (20k- 40k) according to your interview performance + 1 % incentive of each BDE’s sales (total incentive based on combined BDE sales) and 2% of your individual target.
