Job Description
Our resort in Kozhikode is looking for a skilled male Commi 1 to join our kitchen team. The Commi 1 will assist the head chef and senior cooks in preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of dishes, including South Indian, North Indian, and international cuisines. Responsibilities include chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients, following recipes accurately, cooking under supervision, and ensuring that all dishes meet the resort’s quality and hygiene standards. The candidate will also help maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, wash utensils, organize storage areas, and monitor inventory of raw materials. Attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Prior experience as a Commi 1 or in a similar kitchen role is preferred. The candidate must be punctual, disciplined, and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Immediate joining is preferred.
