Job Description
A Commis I is a foundational, experienced-level cook in a professional kitchen. Reporting to a Chef de Partie (CDP) or Sous Chef, they are responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking food to standard recipes, maintaining station cleanliness, and supervising junior or entry-level cooks (Commis II and III).
