Job Description
Job Summary
The Placement Trainer is responsible for preparing students for successful job placements by providing training in soft skills, communication, aptitude, interview preparation, and overall employability enhancement. This role plays a key part in improving student confidence, grooming, and readiness for campus interviews and corporate hiring processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Soft Skills & Communication Training
Conduct training sessions on communication skills (verbal & non-verbal).
Teach interpersonal skills, body language, presentation skills, and teamwork.
Train students on email etiquette, professional behavior, and workplace communication.
2. Interview Preparation
Conduct mock interviews (HR, Technical, Managerial).
Train students for group discussions, personal interviews, and panel interviews.
Provide feedback and improvement plans for each student.
3. Aptitude Training
Teach quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and verbal ability.
Conduct practice tests and review solutions with students.
Prepare students for aptitude rounds used in campus and corporate hiring.
4. Resume & Career Guidance
Help students create professional resumes and LinkedIn profiles.
Guide students in career planning and industry expectations.
Provide one-on-one mentoring for placement readiness.
5. Student Assessment & Reporting
Track student performance, attendance, and training progress.
Maintain training reports, feedback forms, and assessment sheets.
Share weekly/monthly reports with the Placement Department.
6. Placement Support Activities
Coordinate mock drives, placement bootcamps, and interview simulations.
Support the placement team during recruitment drives and employer visits.
Assist in student skill-gap analysis and improvement strategies.
7. Coordination & Travel
Coordinate with center heads, placement coordinators, and academic teams.
Travel to different centers or colleges for training sessions, when required.
