As a Tea Maker, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of teas to our customers while ensuring high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Prepare and serve a diverse range of teas, including traditional and specialty blends. Ensure the quality and consistency of each tea served, adhering to established recipes and standards. Operate tea-making equipment such as kettles, tea infusers, and brewing machines safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of tea preparation areas, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces. Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations based on customer preferences. Handle cash and process transactions accurately using POS systems. Uphold food safety and hygiene standards at all times, including proper handling and storage of tea ingredients. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely service during peak hours. Assist with inventory management by monitoring tea supplies and communicating replenishment needs to management. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction. Stay updated on tea trends, new products, and brewing techniques to enhance the customer experience. Requirements: Proven experience as a Tea Maker or similar role in a café, tea shop, or hospitality setting. Knowledge of various tea types, flavors, and brewing methods. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating change. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed. Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights. Fluency in Malayalam and English; additional languages are a plus.
