Job Description: As a Floor Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our retail floor. You will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and maintain a high standard of customer service. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of floor staff, including sales associates, cashiers, and customer service representatives. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure staff perform their duties effectively. Customer Service: Maintain a customer-centric approach and ensure that all customer inquiries, complaints, and issues are addressed promptly and professionally. Lead by example in delivering exceptional service and resolving customer concerns. Floor Management: Monitor the sales floor to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to company standards. Coordinate with cleaning staff and maintenance personnel to address any issues promptly. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, stock replenishment, and merchandising activities on the sales floor. Conduct regular stock checks, identify product replenishment needs, and coordinate with the warehouse or purchasing department as required. Sales Performance: Monitor sales performance metrics, including daily sales targets, conversion rates, and average transaction values. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to drive sales growth and achieve targets. Staff Scheduling: Prepare and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and busy periods. Monitor staff attendance, breaks, and adherence to schedule requirements. Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to floor staff to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service capabilities. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to support staff growth and development. Safety and Security: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and security procedures to protect employees, customers, and company assets. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any safety hazards or concerns. Promotions and Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotions, events, and marketing campaigns on the sales floor. Ensure promotional materials are displayed prominently and effectively communicate promotional offers to customers. Reporting and Administration: Prepare daily sales reports, inventory reports, and other relevant documentation as required by management. Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, cash handling, and staff performance. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in retail management is a plus. Previous experience (X years) in a supervisory or leadership role in retail or a related industry. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused mindset. Knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and sales techniques. Proficiency in using computer systems, POS systems, and basic office software. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
