Repair or replace damaged wiring, connectors, and terminals to ensure proper electrical connections. Install aftermarket electrical accessories, such as alarm systems, audio systems, and lighting upgrades, according to customer specifications. Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as battery testing, charging system inspections, and electrical system checks, to prevent future issues. Keep abreast of advancements in automotive electrical systems and technologies, attending training sessions and workshops as needed. Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements governing electrical work in automotive repair facilities. Maintain accurate records of electrical repairs, parts usage, and labor hours in the service management system. Qualifications: Diploma or certification in Automotive Electrical Systems or a related field. Proven experience as an automobile electrician or automotive technician, with at least 2-3 years of experience in electrical diagnostics and repair. Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, including wiring diagrams, circuitry, and component functions. Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, multimeters, and electrical testing tools. Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy in electrical repairs and installations. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
