Your role will involve: Delivery Operations: Carry out deliveries of packages, parcels, or goods to customers' locations promptly and accurately. Follow designated routes and schedules to optimize delivery efficiency and meet delivery targets. Package Handling: Handle packages with care and attention to prevent damage or loss during transportation. Ensure proper loading, unloading, and securing of packages in delivery vehicles to maintain their integrity. Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional service to customers during delivery interactions. Greet customers, confirm delivery details, and address any inquiries or concerns they may have regarding their orders. Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with customers, supervisors, and colleagues regarding delivery updates, delays, or issues. Report any incidents, accidents, or discrepancies encountered during deliveries promptly. Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine checks and inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety regulations. Monitor fuel levels, mileage, and vehicle condition, and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate authorities. Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and documentation related to deliveries, including delivery receipts, invoices, and proof of delivery forms. Ensure accuracy and completeness of records for tracking and record-keeping purposes. Safety Compliance: Adhere to traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving and conducting deliveries. Maintain safe driving practices and adhere to speed limits, traffic signals, and road signs at all times. Efficiency and Productivity: Strive to optimize delivery routes and maximize productivity while minimizing delivery times and fuel consumption. Use navigation tools and route planning software to navigate efficiently through traffic and avoid delays. Customer Satisfaction: Focus on delivering a positive customer experience by ensuring on-time deliveries, accurate order fulfillment, and friendly customer interactions. Address any delivery issues or concerns promptly and professionally to uphold customer satisfaction. Qualifications: Valid two-wheeler driving license and clean driving record. Prior experience in delivery or logistics operations preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with local areas and routes in Trivandrum. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and carrying packages.
