As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, common areas, and other areas of our establishment to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests. Responsibilities: Room Cleaning: Clean and tidy guest rooms according to established standards and procedures. Make beds, change linens, vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and replenish amenities to ensure rooms are clean, neat, and inviting for guests. Bathroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize bathroom fixtures, including toilets, sinks, showers, and tubs. Replenish toiletries, towels, and other amenities as needed. Ensure bathrooms are clean, hygienic, and stocked with essentials. Surface Cleaning: Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces in guest rooms and common areas. Clean and sanitize surfaces, such as countertops, tables, and windowsills, using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment. Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in guest rooms, corridors, and common areas to remove dirt, dust, and debris. Pay attention to high-traffic areas and spots that require extra cleaning or attention. Trash Removal: Empty trash bins and receptacles in guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas. Dispose of waste properly and follow recycling guidelines to minimize environmental impact. Linen Management: Collect used linens and towels from guest rooms and replace them with fresh, clean ones. Sort, fold, and store linens and towels neatly in designated storage areas. Restocking Supplies: Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and amenities. Replenish supplies in guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas as needed to ensure availability for guests. Common Area Cleaning: Clean and maintain cleanliness in common areas, such as lobbies, hallways, staircases, and public restrooms. Ensure these areas are clean, tidy, and free of clutter for guests' comfort and safety. Special Requests: Fulfill special guest requests, such as providing extra pillows, blankets, or amenities, in a timely and efficient manner. Communicate any guest requests or preferences to the housekeeping supervisor or front desk staff. Adherence to Standards: Adhere to housekeeping standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent quality and cleanliness throughout the establishment. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Requirements: Previous experience as a Housekeeper or Room Attendant in a hotel, resort, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Training will be provided. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and reaching. Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Flexibility to work shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
