Responsibilities: General Cleaning: Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors, carpets, and rugs. Ensure that all surfaces are clean, sanitized, and free of debris or litter. Bathroom Cleaning: Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures. Replenish toiletries and supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and hand towels as needed. Trash Removal: Empty trash bins and receptacles regularly, disposing of waste in designated areas and replacing trash liners as needed. Sort recyclable materials and dispose of them accordingly. Surface Disinfection: Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, handrails, countertops, and tables to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria. Use appropriate cleaning agents and disinfectants for effective sanitation. Kitchen Cleaning: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including countertops, sinks, stovetops, and appliances. Wash dishes, utensils, and cookware, and store them in designated areas. Window and Glass Cleaning: Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools to ensure streak-free results. Remove dust, smudges, and fingerprints for a clear and polished appearance. Floor Care: Strip, wax, and polish hard floors to maintain a clean and shiny appearance. Use floor scrubbers, buffers, and polishers to achieve desired results. Follow safety protocols when using floor care equipment. Stocking and Inventory: Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment inventory, and notify supervisors of low stock levels. Replenish supplies such as cleaning chemicals, paper towels, and trash bags as needed. Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and safety goggles to protect yourself from hazards. Reporting Maintenance Issues: Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors or management promptly. Assist with minor maintenance tasks or repairs as needed. Requirements: Prior experience in cleaning or housekeeping is preferred but not required. Training will be provided. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in commercial cleaning operations. Physical stamina and endurance to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects. Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning and sanitizing tasks. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
