We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Front Office Associate to join our team. Job Description: As a Front Office Associate, you will be responsible for providing friendly and efficient service to guests during their stay at our establishment. Your primary objective will be to ensure a positive guest experience by handling reservations, check-ins, check-outs, inquiries, and other front desk duties with professionalism and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Guest Reception: Greet guests warmly as they arrive, assist with check-ins, and provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions. Reservation Handling: Manage guest reservations, including bookings, modifications, cancellations, and room assignments, using the hotel's reservation system. Check-in and Check-out: Process guest arrivals and departures efficiently, verify guest information, collect payments, and issue room keys or access cards. Room Allocation: Assign rooms to guests based on their preferences, room availability, and special requests, ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction. Guest Services: Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, providing courteous and helpful assistance to resolve issues and enhance guest satisfaction. Telephone and Email Communication: Handle incoming calls, emails, and messages, providing information, taking messages, and forwarding inquiries to the appropriate departments or staff members. Cash Handling: Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment accurately, following established procedures and ensuring security of funds. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, reservations, payments, and room occupancy using the hotel's front office software or manual logs. Safety and Security: Monitor the lobby area and entrance for security purposes, ensuring the safety and well-being of guests and property during your shift. Collaboration: Coordinate with other hotel departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage, to ensure guest requests are fulfilled promptly and efficiently. Qualifications: Previous experience in a front office or customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and hotel management software. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and resolve guest issues diplomatically. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the operation. Minimum education requirement: High school diploma or equivalent.
