Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and enter them into the POS system promptly. Relay orders to the kitchen and bar staff and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables. Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly. Up-sell menu items and beverages to enhance the dining experience and increase revenue. Prepare and serve beverages including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes. Clear tables efficiently and reset them for the next guests, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the dining area. Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions securely. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant and excellent customer service. Assist with opening and closing duties including setting up tables, restocking supplies, and cleaning the dining area. Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining hygiene standards in all aspects of food and beverage service. Requirements: Previous experience as a waiter or server in a restaurant, hotel, or similar hospitality environment is preferred but not required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner. Strong customer service orientation and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm under pressure. Basic math skills for processing orders and handling payments. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per the restaurant's schedule. Knowledge of food and beverage items, including wine and spirits, is an advantage. Neat and presentable appearance with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to speak Malayalam or Hindi is preferred but not mandatory.
