Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Front Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our front desk and guest services. The Front Office Manager will be responsible for managing a team of front desk staff, ensuring efficient guest check-in and check-out processes, and maintaining high standards of service and hospitality. Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the front office, including guest check-in, check-out, reservations, and concierge services. Train, supervise, and mentor front desk staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure excellent service delivery. Develop and implement front office procedures, policies, and standards to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Monitor and manage room inventory, rates, and availability to maximize occupancy and revenue. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally, resolving issues to the satisfaction of guests. Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, reservations, and financial transactions, and prepare reports for management as required. Coordinate with other departments, such as housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage, to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolve any operational issues. Conduct regular inspections of front desk areas, guest rooms, and public spaces to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with standards. Assist with budget planning and management for the front office department, including revenue forecasting and expense control. Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in hospitality management, and implement improvements as needed. Requirements: Proven experience as a Front Office Manager, Front Desk Manager, or similar role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel or resort setting. Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional service. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management. Proficiency in hotel management software and computer applications for reservations, guest management, and reporting. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of hotel operations, front office procedures, and hospitality industry standards. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs. Positive attitude, professionalism, and a commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences. Fluency in English and Malayalam; additional languages are a plus.
