Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site, including scheduling, planning, and executing tasks according to project timelines and requirements. Monitor work progress, productivity, and quality of workmanship, ensuring adherence to construction plans, specifications, and standards. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services required for construction. Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to identify defects, deficiencies, and safety hazards, and take corrective actions as needed. Enforce safety regulations and procedures on-site, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and regulations. Provide guidance and direction to construction workers and subcontractors, assigning tasks and responsibilities, and resolving conflicts or issues that may arise. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, and material usage, and prepare reports for project managers and stakeholders as required. Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project status, issues, and concerns. Assist in the interpretation of construction plans, drawings, and specifications, and ensure that work is executed accordingly. Ensure that site cleanliness and organization are maintained, including proper storage and disposal of materials and waste. Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry, preferably in residential or commercial projects. Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials, with the ability to interpret construction plans and specifications. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team. Problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills to resolve issues and challenges on-site. Familiarity with health and safety regulations and practices in the construction industry. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
