Cleaning Supervisor Job Opening in Wayanad

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to oversee our housekeeping team in Wayanad. The Cleaning Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall maintenance of our facility, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff, including room attendants, housekeepers, and laundry attendants. Assign tasks and responsibilities to housekeeping staff, ensuring that workloads are distributed evenly and completed efficiently. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and compliance with established standards. Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities, and communicate with management to ensure timely replenishment. Coordinate with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to address guest requests, maintenance issues, and special cleaning projects. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to housekeeping staff to foster professional growth and development. Enforce adherence to health and safety regulations and guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Investigate and resolve guest complaints or concerns related to cleanliness or housekeeping services. Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities, including room occupancy, cleaning schedules, and maintenance requests. Requirements: Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in housekeeping or a related field, preferably in a hospitality or hotel setting. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve excellence. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and supplies, as well as basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication. Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products is advantageous.
