The Snacks Maker plays a key role in preparing a variety of delicious snacks, such as samosas, pakoras, vadas, and other local specialties, to complement our dining offerings. This position requires expertise in snack preparation, a passion for culinary creativity, and a commitment to delivering high-quality and flavorful snacks to our guests. Responsibilities: Prepare a variety of snacks according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation. Clean, peel, chop, and slice vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients as needed for snack preparation. Deep-fry, bake, or grill snack items using appropriate cooking methods and equipment, ensuring that snacks are cooked to perfection. Season and garnish snacks with spices, herbs, sauces, and condiments to enhance flavor and appearance. Monitor cooking temperatures and times, adjusting as needed to achieve optimal results. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the snack preparation area, including countertops, cooking equipment, and utensils. Assist in maintaining inventory levels of snack ingredients and supplies, and communicate with management to ensure timely replenishment. Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations and guidelines, including proper handling of raw ingredients and cooked food items. Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about snack options. Collaborate with kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of snacks. Requirements: Previous experience working as a Snacks Maker or similar role, preferably in a restaurant, café, or food service establishment. Knowledge of snack preparation techniques, including deep-frying, baking, and grilling. Ability to follow recipes accurately and adapt to changing menu requirements. Creativity and innovation in snack preparation, with a focus on flavor, texture, and presentation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Formal culinary education or training in food preparation is a plus.
