As a North Indian Chef, you will play a key role in creating flavorful and authentic dishes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a diverse range of North Indian dishes, including but not limited to tandoori dishes, kebabs, curries, biryanis, and bread like naan and paratha. Develop and execute creative and innovative menu ideas while maintaining the authenticity of traditional North Indian flavors. Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation in accordance with established standards. Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation practices, ensuring a clean and hygienic kitchen environment at all times. Manage inventory levels, including ordering and stock rotation, to minimize waste and ensure availability of ingredients. Train and supervise kitchen staff in North Indian cooking techniques, recipes, and presentation standards. Collaborate with the management team to plan and organize special events, promotions, and themed menus. Stay updated on current food trends, culinary techniques, and ingredient sourcing related to North Indian cuisine. Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, reporting any issues or maintenance needs promptly. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and excellence among kitchen staff. Requirements: Proven experience working as a North Indian Chef or similar role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hotel kitchen. Extensive knowledge and expertise in North Indian cuisine, including regional variations, spices, and cooking techniques. Demonstrated ability to prepare and present a wide range of North Indian dishes with precision and authenticity. Strong understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen sanitation practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Creative flair and passion for culinary innovation, with a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Formal culinary education or relevant certifications are a plus. Familiarity with the culinary preferences and dietary habits of guests in Wayanad and Kerala is advantageous.
