Job Description: As a Civil AutoCAD Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for civil engineering projects using AutoCAD software. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to translate conceptual designs and specifications into accurate technical drawings. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in AutoCAD, a solid understanding of civil engineering principles, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed drawings, plans, and layouts for civil engineering projects, including site plans, structural drawings, and construction plans. Interpret engineering sketches, blueprints, and specifications to create accurate and precise drawings. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives. Incorporate design changes and modifications as directed by project managers or clients. Ensure drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Perform calculations and measurements to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings. Maintain organized project files and documentation, including revision control and drawing archives. Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and vendors as needed. Review and check drawings for errors, inconsistencies, and omissions. Stay updated on industry trends, software updates, and best practices in AutoCAD design. Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Proven experience as a Civil AutoCAD Designer, preferably in a civil engineering or construction environment. Proficiency in AutoCAD software and other relevant design tools. Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and materials. Excellent technical drawing skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines. Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
