We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Restaurant Manager in Ernakulam. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including customer service, staff management, financial performance, and business development. Responsibilities: Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery. Monitor dining room and kitchen activities to maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards. Coordinate with kitchen staff, servers, and other departments to ensure timely and high-quality food and beverage service. Customer Service: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing attentive service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly, and resolving issues effectively. Monitor customer feedback and reviews, implementing improvements to enhance the dining experience. Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, bartenders, and kitchen personnel. Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to staff members. Schedule shifts and manage staffing levels to optimize efficiency and customer service. Financial Management: Monitor and manage restaurant finances, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation. Analyze financial reports and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase profitability. Ensure accurate cash handling procedures and maintain records of sales, expenses, and inventory. Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones, including marketing initiatives, promotional events, and loyalty programs. Build relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and industry partners to promote the restaurant and drive sales. Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion sizes, and plating guidelines. Conduct regular inspections of the dining area, kitchen, and facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with regulations. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar leadership role, preferably in a fine dining or upscale casual dining establishment. Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals and deliver exceptional service. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, staff, and vendors. Financial acumen, with the ability to analyze financial reports, manage budgets, and implement cost-control measures. Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and kitchen procedures. Familiarity with restaurant POS systems and other technology used in restaurant operations. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
