We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Dishwasher in Ernakulam. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Responsibilities: Operate commercial dishwashing equipment, including dishwashers, sinks, and sanitizing machines, following safety and operating procedures. Load and unload dish racks, trays, and other items into the dishwasher, ensuring proper arrangement and organization to maximize washing efficiency. Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment manually as needed, using dish soap, brushes, and scrubbers. Rinse and sanitize dishes and utensils after washing, following sanitation protocols and guidelines to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. Inspect dishes and utensils for cleanliness and quality, removing any food particles, stains, or debris before stacking or storing. Dry dishes and utensils thoroughly using air dryers, towels, or dish racks, and store them in designated areas for reuse. Empty and clean garbage bins, recycling containers, and composting bins regularly, disposing of waste properly and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen. Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, countertops, sinks, and floors, following cleaning protocols and procedures. Assist kitchen staff in basic food preparation tasks, such as washing and cutting vegetables, as needed during downtime. Collaborate with kitchen and restaurant staff to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. Requirements: No formal education requirements; high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience as a Dishwasher or in a similar role in a restaurant, hotel, or commercial kitchen is an asset. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks as needed. Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry heavy objects, and perform manual tasks associated with dishwashing. Strong attention to detail and a focus on cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in all tasks and responsibilities. Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and guidelines accurately and efficiently. Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to work as part of a team to achieve common goals. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to handling cleaning chemicals and operating dishwashing equipment.
