CNC Machine Operator Job Opening in Thrissur

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our team in Thrissur. The CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision components and parts according to engineering specifications. This role requires expertise in CNC machine operation, programming, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to understand machining requirements, dimensions, and tolerances. Set up CNC machines by installing and adjusting cutting tools, workpieces, fixtures, and machine settings according to job specifications. Load and unload workpieces into CNC machines and secure them in place using clamps, vices, or other holding devices. Program CNC machines using computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software or machine controls to execute machining operations, including milling, turning, drilling, and boring. Monitor machine operations and adjust machine settings as needed to ensure proper cutting speeds, feeds, and tool paths for optimal machining performance. Inspect machined parts and components for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and quality using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Make adjustments to CNC programs and machine settings to correct deviations from specifications and ensure conformance to quality standards. Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts, to keep machines in optimal operating condition. Troubleshoot machine malfunctions, tooling issues, and programming errors to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when operating CNC machines, handling cutting tools, and performing maintenance tasks to prevent accidents and injuries. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in CNC machining or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator in a manufacturing or machining environment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Strong knowledge of CNC machine operation, programming, and setup procedures for milling, turning, or other machining processes. Familiarity with CAM software and CNC machine controls, such as Fanuc, Siemens, or Haas. Ability to perform precision machining operations and maintain tight tolerances on machined parts and components. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine malfunctions and programming errors independently. Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks in a workshop environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship in machining operations.
