Prepare flowers by trimming stems, removing leaves, and conditioning blooms to ensure longevity and freshness. Arrange flowers in various containers, vases, or structures, incorporating design principles such as balance, proportion, and color harmony. Install and set up floral decorations at event venues, including ceremony sites, reception halls, and banquet rooms. Work closely with event planners, decorators, and other vendors to ensure seamless coordination and execution of floral designs. Provide on-site supervision and support during event setup and breakdown, making adjustments as needed to enhance the visual impact of floral arrangements. Maintain inventory of floral supplies, tools, and equipment, and ensure proper storage and organization of materials. Requirements: Diploma or certification in Floral Design, Horticulture, or a related field. Proven experience in floral design and decoration, preferably in the event planning or hospitality industry. Strong artistic abilities and a creative flair for floral design, with an eye for color, texture, and composition. Extensive knowledge of different types of flowers, foliage, and floral arranging techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and vendors. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail. Physical stamina and dexterity to handle flowers and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules.
