Create sketches, renderings, or mock-ups to present design ideas to clients for approval. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to procure materials and execute the stage decoration setup. Oversee the installation and arrangement of stage decorations, including backdrops, drapery, floral arrangements, lighting, and props. Ensure that all decorations are installed safely and securely, adhering to venue regulations and safety standards. Provide on-site supervision and support during event setup and breakdown, ensuring that the stage decoration meets the client's expectations. Troubleshoot any issues or challenges that arise during the setup process, making adjustments as needed to achieve the desired result. Collaborate with other event professionals, including planners, florists, lighting technicians, and audiovisual specialists, to create cohesive and impactful event designs. Requirements: Diploma or degree in Event Management, Interior Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. Proven experience in stage decoration, event design, or a similar role, preferably in the event planning or hospitality industry. Strong creative abilities and a keen eye for design, color, and composition. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand and interpret client needs and preferences. Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or SketchUp, for creating design concepts and presentations. Knowledge of different decorating techniques, materials, and trends in event design and decor. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules.
