House Keeping Supervisor Job Opening in Kottayam

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee our housekeeping operations in Kottayam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met, and maintaining a welcoming environment for our guests. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and support as needed. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met. Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and company policies and procedures. Schedule and coordinate staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources. Order and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and amenities. Respond promptly to guest requests, complaints, and inquiries related to housekeeping services. Assist with recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new housekeeping staff. Implement and enforce safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for staff and guests. Monitor and report any maintenance issues or repairs needed within the facility. Collaborate with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction. Requirements: Proven experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality industry. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and communicate effectively with staff and management. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Proficiency in relevant computer applications, such as Microsoft Office and housekeeping management software, is preferred. A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional service to guests. Diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.
