Hardware Technician Job Opening in Kochi

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Technician to join our team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a strong understanding of hardware components and systems. The Hardware Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various hardware equipment including computers, servers, networking devices, and peripherals. Responsibilities: Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues reported by users or detected through monitoring systems. Repair or replace defective hardware components including but not limited to CPUs, RAM, hard drives, motherboards, network cards, and power supplies. Install, configure, and upgrade hardware equipment such as desktops, laptops, servers, and networking devices. Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and longevity of hardware systems. Test hardware components and systems to ensure functionality and reliability. Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex hardware-related issues. Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory, repairs, and maintenance activities. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on hardware-related issues. Stay updated on the latest hardware technologies, trends, and best practices. Follow company policies and procedures regarding hardware maintenance, security, and usage. Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Hardware Technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and peripherals. Hands-on experience with hardware diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving. Certification such as CompTIA A+ or equivalent is a plus. Prior experience in a similar role within the IT industry is preferred.
