We are currently seeking a skilled Inverter Technician to join our team in Vadakara. The Inverter Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining inverters and UPS systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Key Responsibilities: Installation and Setup: Install inverters and UPS systems at client locations, ensuring proper placement, wiring, and configuration. Connect inverters to electrical panels, batteries, and power sources according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues with inverters and UPS systems, including power failures, battery faults, overload conditions, and system errors. Use diagnostic tools and testing procedures to identify root causes of malfunctions and performance issues. Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, such as circuit boards, capacitors, transformers, and voltage regulators. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, including cleaning, inspection, and lubrication, to ensure optimal performance and longevity of inverters. Battery Maintenance and Replacement: Inspect and test batteries for voltage levels, charging capacity, and overall condition. Replace batteries as needed to maintain backup power availability and system reliability. System Testing and Calibration: Test inverters and UPS systems for proper operation, voltage regulation, frequency stability, and load capacity. Calibrate control settings and parameters to optimize system performance and efficiency. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with electrical systems, batteries, and high-voltage equipment. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for inverter installation, maintenance, and operation. Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their concerns, answering questions, and providing guidance on inverter usage and maintenance. Provide accurate estimates for repair costs, replacement parts, and service options, and obtain customer approval before initiating repairs. Qualifications: Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or related field. Proven experience as an Inverter Technician, UPS Technician, or similar role. Strong technical skills and knowledge of inverter and UPS systems, components, and operation. Familiarity with electrical systems, circuits, and wiring diagrams. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and testing equipment for troubleshooting and repairs. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in diagnosing and resolving technical issues. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to customers. Customer service orientation and commitment to delivering high-quality service and support. Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces, heights, and outdoor conditions.
