We are currently seeking a skilled Refrigerator Technician to join our team in Vadakara. The Refrigerator Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration systems, including refrigerators, freezers, and coolers. Key Responsibilities: Installation and Setup: Install new refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings, ensuring proper placement, wiring, and connections. Set up refrigeration equipment according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Diagnosis and Repair: Diagnose issues with refrigeration systems, such as compressor failures, refrigerant leaks, temperature fluctuations, and electrical problems. Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, and control systems. Maintenance and Servicing: Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to keep refrigeration systems in optimal condition, including cleaning coils, replacing filters, and checking refrigerant levels. Perform routine inspections to identify potential problems and address them before they escalate. Refrigerant Handling and Compliance: Handle refrigerants safely and responsibly, following proper procedures for storage, transportation, and disposal. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards for refrigerant handling and emissions. Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their concerns, answering questions, and providing guidance on proper equipment usage and maintenance. Provide estimates for repair and replacement services, and obtain customer approval before initiating work. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of service calls, work performed, parts used, and hours worked for billing and reporting purposes. Complete service reports, work orders, and other documentation as required by company policies and procedures. Qualifications: Diploma or certification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology or related field. Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician, HVAC Technician, or similar role. Strong technical skills and knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with a variety of refrigeration equipment, including refrigerators, freezers, ice machines, and walk-in coolers. Proficiency in reading technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals for installation and repair tasks. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in diagnosing and resolving issues. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces, heights, and outdoor conditions.
