AC Technician Job Opening in Vadakara

We are seeking a skilled and experienced AC Technician to join our team in Vadakara. The AC Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers. Key Responsibilities: Installation and Setup: Install new air conditioning systems, including ductwork, refrigerant lines, electrical wiring, and control systems. Ensure proper placement and positioning of indoor and outdoor units for optimal performance and efficiency. Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with air conditioning systems, such as refrigerant leaks, compressor issues, and electrical malfunctions. Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, including compressors, condensers, evaporator coils, and fan motors. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, lubricating moving parts, and checking refrigerant levels. System Testing and Calibration: Test air conditioning systems for proper operation, airflow, temperature control, and humidity levels. Calibrate thermostats, sensors, and control systems to ensure accurate and consistent performance. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with electrical systems, refrigerants, and mechanical equipment. Follow industry standards and best practices for installation, repair, and maintenance of air conditioning systems. Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their concerns, answering questions, and providing guidance on proper system usage and maintenance. Provide cost estimates for repair and replacement services, and obtain customer approval before initiating work. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of service calls, work performed, parts used, and hours worked for billing and reporting purposes. Complete service reports, work orders, and other documentation as required by company policies and procedures. Qualifications: Diploma or certification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology or related field. Proven experience as an AC Technician, HVAC Technician, or similar role. Strong technical skills and knowledge of air conditioning systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with a variety of AC brands and models, including split systems, central air units, and ductless mini-splits. Proficiency in reading technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints for installation and repair tasks. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in diagnosing and resolving issues. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces, heights, and outdoor conditions. Certification from relevant regulatory bodies (e.g., EPA certification for handling refrigerants) is preferred.
