Insurance Manager Job Opening in Thrissur

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Insurance Manager to join our team in Thrissur. The Insurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the insurance department, including sales, customer service, and administration. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to achieve sales targets, revenue goals, and business objectives for the insurance department. Recruit, train, and mentor insurance agents and sales representatives to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to effectively sell insurance products and services. Monitor and evaluate sales performance, productivity, and profitability metrics for the insurance department, and implement corrective actions as needed to drive performance improvements. Develop and maintain relationships with insurance carriers, underwriters, and partners to negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and coverage options for customers. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to anticipate opportunities and threats in the insurance market. Lead marketing and promotional efforts to raise awareness of insurance products and services, generate leads, and attract new customers. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, finance, and customer service, to ensure alignment and integration of insurance services with overall business objectives. Oversee the processing of insurance applications, claims, and policy renewals, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Develop and implement customer service standards and procedures to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Prepare and present reports, analyses, and forecasts on insurance department performance, trends, and opportunities to senior management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field. (Master’s degree preferred) Proven experience (X years) in insurance sales, management, or related roles, with a track record of success in driving revenue growth and profitability. Strong knowledge of insurance products, services, regulations, and industry trends. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and performance goals. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers, employees, and partners. Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales and operations. Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools for tracking leads, managing customer relationships, and generating reports.
