We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Spare Parts Incharge in Trivandrum. The Spare Parts Incharge will be responsible for managing the inventory of spare parts, ensuring availability of parts for repairs and maintenance, and overseeing the spare parts department's operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of automotive spare parts. Key Responsibilities: Manage the inventory of spare parts, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and distributing parts as needed. Maintain accurate records of spare parts inventory, including quantities, locations, and stock levels. Monitor inventory levels and reorder parts as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels and prevent stockouts. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to order spare parts, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of orders. Inspect incoming shipments of spare parts to verify accuracy, quality, and condition of parts received. Identify and address discrepancies or issues with incoming shipments, such as damaged or incorrect parts. Organize and maintain the spare parts warehouse or storage area, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and safety. Implement inventory management best practices, such as FIFO (first in, first out) and ABC analysis, to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste. Coordinate with technicians and service advisors to fulfill spare parts requests and ensure timely delivery of parts for repairs and maintenance. Train and supervise spare parts department staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. (Associate's degree or equivalent experience may be considered) Proven experience (X years) working in a spare parts management or inventory control role, preferably in the automotive industry. Strong knowledge of automotive spare parts, components, and systems. Proficiency in inventory management software and systems for tracking and managing spare parts inventory. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory records and documentation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams. Ability to analyze data and reports to identify trends, make informed decisions, and optimize spare parts inventory management. Leadership skills to supervise and motivate spare parts department staff. Problem-solving skills to address issues with inventory, shipments, and spare parts availability. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
