We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Recovery Executive to join our team in Trivandrum. The Recovery Executive will be responsible for managing and facilitating the recovery of outstanding debts owed to the company. Key Responsibilities: Contact customers who have defaulted on payments to discuss repayment options and negotiate payment plans. Make outbound calls, send emails, and correspondence to follow up on overdue accounts and encourage timely payment. Review customer accounts, payment history, and correspondence to assess the status of outstanding debts. Investigate reasons for non-payment, address customer concerns, and resolve disputes in a timely and professional manner. Maintain accurate records of all communication with customers, including payment promises and agreements. Collaborate with internal teams such as finance, legal, and customer service to resolve complex cases and escalate issues when necessary. Utilize debt recovery software and tools to track accounts, update information, and generate reports. Monitor and prioritize accounts based on the level of delinquency and take appropriate action to recover debts within established timelines. Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to debt collection and compliance. Provide regular updates and reports to management on the status of debt recovery efforts, trends, and performance metrics. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. (Preferred) Proven experience (X years) working in debt recovery or collections, preferably in a financial institution or collection agency. Strong understanding of debt recovery processes, legal regulations, and compliance requirements. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to handle difficult conversations and diffuse tense situations. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while also collaborating with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in using debt recovery software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
