Currently, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Wheel Alignment Technician to join our team. Responsibilities: Perform wheel alignment inspections and adjustments on various types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs, using computerized alignment machines and laser-guided systems. Conduct pre-alignment checks, including inspecting tyre condition, tread wear patterns, suspension components, steering linkage, and chassis alignment, to identify any issues that may affect wheel alignment. Set up alignment equipment according to vehicle specifications, including wheel clamps, targets, and sensor heads, and calibrate alignment machines to ensure accurate measurements and alignment adjustments. Interpret alignment readings and diagnostic data provided by alignment machines, identifying misalignment issues such as toe, camber, and caster angles, and recommending corrective actions. Adjust wheel angles and alignment settings as needed to align wheels with vehicle manufacturer specifications and restore proper alignment geometry, ensuring optimal handling, stability, and tyre wear. Perform wheel balancing and tyre rotation services as needed to promote even tyre wear and extend tyre lifespan, using wheel balancing machines and tyre changers. Inspect and test drive vehicles after alignment procedures to verify alignment accuracy, steering responsiveness, and vehicle stability, and make additional adjustments if necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wheel alignment bay, equipment, and tools, including alignment racks, lifts, jacks, and alignment accessories, to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots, and following safe lifting and handling practices. Assist customers with alignment inquiries, providing explanations of alignment procedures, results, and recommendations for additional services or repairs as needed. Requirements: Proven experience as a Wheel Alignment Technician or Automotive Technician, with a minimum of [insert number of years] years of experience in wheel alignment, balancing, and suspension services.
