AutoCAD Designer Job Opening in Kottayam

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Civil AutoCAD Designer to join our team. The Civil AutoCAD Designer will be responsible for creating detailed drawings, plans, and layouts for construction projects using AutoCAD software. Responsibilities: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements, specifications, and design objectives, and translate concepts and sketches into detailed AutoCAD drawings and plans. Create accurate and detailed drawings, blueprints, and schematics for civil engineering projects, including site plans, floor plans, elevation drawings, cross-sections, and construction details, using AutoCAD software. Develop 2D and 3D models, renderings, and visualizations of building structures, infrastructure, and components, incorporating architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical elements as needed. Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, industry standards, and project specifications in all design drawings and plans, and make revisions or adjustments as required during the design review process. Conduct site visits and surveys to gather field measurements, dimensions, and site conditions, and incorporate this information into design drawings and plans with accuracy and precision. Coordinate with project team members and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors, to address design issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives. Review and interpret technical documents, engineering drawings, and architectural sketches, and apply engineering principles and practices to create practical and feasible design solutions. Organize and maintain drawing files, records, and documentation in accordance with company standards and project requirements, ensuring version control, file naming conventions, and document management protocols are followed. Stay updated on industry trends, software updates, and best practices in computer-aided design (CAD) and AutoCAD software, attending training sessions, workshops, and certification programs as needed to enhance skills and knowledge. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture, or a related field required. Additional certification or training in AutoCAD software preferred. Proven experience as a Civil AutoCAD Designer, CAD Drafter, or similar role, with a minimum of [insert number of years] years of experience in architectural or civil engineering design and drafting.
